IG Police Islamabad brief women participants about Police initiatives and asked women to feel free to contac Police whenever required
Islamabad Police invited members of women communities to apprise them about the latest initiatives by police regarding safety and security of all citizens, particularly women.
The session with women was held at Safe City complex where IG Police Islamabad Tariq Masood Yasin and Station Director Aisha Jamil hosted the participants.
Islamabad Police considers women an integral part of society, playing a pivotal role in the progress of the society and performing the gigantic task of character building of new generation.
Inspector General (IG) of Police Islamabad and Station Director Aisha briefed women participants about state of the art equipment used by Islamabad Police to keep the capital city safe and secure.
Speaking on the occasion, Inspector General of Police Islamabad emphasized on the role of women in harmonizing the relation between police and citizens and asked women to feel free to contact ICT Police whenever required.
Mr. Tariq Masood noted that “ICT Police is committed to excellence with a strong resolve to make the capital safer than ever before and to empower women to play their pivotal role in nation building.”
On their visit, women members were also informed about the platforms like IG Complaint Desks at IGP Office with female focal persons and Reporting Rooms at all police stations with female police officers for the safety of women.
Police officers also apprised them about Rescue 15 and Online complaint Management System of Islamabad police for the registration and redressal of their grievances.
The participants also visited Call Centre at Safe City which is handled by female staff, for registration and follow up of women related issues.
