Bundoo Khan Restaurant, famous for its BBQ, Chicken Tikka and parathas, is now open in Islamabad.
Pakistan’s one of oldest and famous restaurant, Bundoo Khan, has opened its new branch in Islamabad’s Sagheer Market, F-10/4, to cater to BBQ lovers in the capital city.
Al Haaj Bundoo Khan was launched in Islamabad with a dazzling ceremony hosted by top model Natty. The event was organized by Rezz PR and Events. The launch event was attended by city foodies and socialites in huge numbers.
Islamabad restaurant is owned by Nadia Ashar and Ashar Sheikh. Nadia, being a connoisseur of Desi BBQ and an entrepreneur, has finally managed to bring this authentic taste to Islamabad by launching Al Haaj Bundoo Khan in Islamabad.

Karachi was the first city to get this unique BBQ cuisine taste in 1948 by Muhammad Ali Khan (MAK) who decided to name the initial hamlet as Al Haaj Bundoo Khan which became a family business. The restaurant became a household name in Karachi within days, and a must-visit restaurant for visitors to Karachi.
Bundoo Khan also introduced the famous puri paratha, and therefore the term paratha-kabab was coined. The cuisine also includes chicken and mutton tikka & boti, reshmi kabab, malai boti, chicken sangdana/khalaji, halwa etc. From a humble and modest beginning, from its initial location on Bunder Road it opened outlets at Sindhi Muslim and DHA in Karachi.The restaurant now
