Islamabad is known for its scenic beauty and all types of weathers. After all, the true color of a city is only revealed when seen in all seasons. The best season in Islamabad is, however, the winters that are not really so blue, at least not anymore.

A name that has been an identity for Islamabad since a long time needs no introduction at all. Located at more than 3500 feet above the sea level, the place offers perhaps the best cuisine in the twin cities. Two restaurants have been serving the guest of Islamabad all seasons, especially during the winter and rainy reasons. So if you are planning to enjoy a drive with some exceptionally beautiful natural scenes then you must reserve a table at any of the two restaurants.

Lake View Park

A natural lake that is more than a century old has been serving the needs of the local residents of the city since the city came into existence. Located almost 15km from the center of the city, this Park has a little bit of everything to offer for everyone. Lake view park does not only offer boat rides and jet skies, but they have rapidly added options from rock climbing to state of the art go-carting tracks, and a lot more fun activities along with a phenomenal bird park. All of these spots become more enjoyable in the rainy season.

Rainy weather is perhaps the right time to head to Islamabad’s most favourite park. Resplendent with natural beauty as well landmarks, walking and cycling tracks, kids play zone and food area, Fatima Jinnah Park is a must visit on a rainy day. The magnificent view of Margalla Hills while enjoying a walk in the Park is simply exhilarating. Rose and Jasmine Garden

Located next to Shakarpariyan, this is one of the iconic gardens of Islamabad. Rose and Jasmine Park is famous for the floral collection it has to offer to its visitors. Good walking tracks and splendid with natural beauty makes this place a must visit with your loved ones.
