Islamabad’s favourite Italian restaurant, Tuscany Courtyard, has relocated to Kohsar Market – city’s posh shopping area in F-6.
The new three-storied building of the Tuscany Courtyard has been designed by Ali Umer Alvi.. Inside, the restaurant has walls painted in subtle tones of beige and terracotta with big wide-paned windows that make one feel like they are sitting in an Italian villa.

The new location at Kohsar market has ample seating both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor seating is best for those who want to make the best of food with the view and weather which is a trend in the upscale Kohsar Market.
The re-launch ceremony of Tuscany Courtyard was a glamorous event with red carpet launch hosted by Natty and top Models Kiran, Kanwal, Ammara and Sabeen. The event was organized by Rezz PR and Events .
The owners of Tuscany Courtyard, Khurram Khan, Sikander Bakhtiar, Aamir Rashid decided to re-open the restaurant after huge demand of Islooites and food lovers of the capital.
The name of the restaurant is inspired from Italy’s Tuscany region, known for its beautiful countryside. After visiting Tuscany and being inspired by freshly baked, thin crust pizza and other Italian delicacies, the trio decided to open a place which would serve authentic Italian food instead of the regular desi/continental food most restaurants in Pakistan serve.
“We have completely original Italian recipes, with a wide variety ranging from two tomato bruschettas to thin crust, specialty pizzas. We also have a proper Italian bakery on the premises,” Khan said. “The best thing is that in Islamabad you get the best view and weather, which creates the best ambiance for a restaurant.”
The re-launch ceremony was attended by a large number of foodlovers of Islamabad. “I love Tuscany Courtyard and I and so happy that my favourite place in Islamabad just re opened in Kohsar!” said an exicted Ayesha Khan who is a regular customer .
Tuscany offers the best of Italian cuisine in town and a wide range of food with bold flavors and fresh ingredients that can be enjoyed with absolute delight.
The executive Chef at Tuscany, is a graduate from the Culinary Arts School in Switzerland, who has an experience of working at 5-star restaurants in Dubai.
But the whole menu and the recipe perfection is done by Mr. Khurram Khan, who has decades of experience in the food industry and is a master chef himself.

f Carpaccio, Two Tomato Bruschetta, a huge choice of Thin crust Italian specialty pizzas with choice of whole wheat or white crust, chicken and buffalo Paninis, Polo Passanos, with a range of pastas from Spicy Fettuccine to Penne Mozzarella to Penne Arabiata to Fettuccine Alfredo. The steaks are highly recommended from Wild Shitake Mushroom to Whiskey River steak. Szechuan prawns, Prawns in garlic sauce and the Oven baked fish are also worth trying.
The special dishes to look forward to are Wild Shiitake Mushroom Steak, Hot fudge skillet brownie, Bread and Butter pudding, Thai fiery Chicken, Tuscany special Pizza (Staggioni), Mushroom Melt Burger and Avocado & Shrimp Salad.
